| The
T-311 is used for a variety of applications where automating the process of making and receiving calls is desired. These applications include commercial, industrial,
and business environments as well as non-profits and university environments.
Applications for the T-311 fall into three basic
categories: outgoing calls, incoming calls, and security for incoming
calls.
Outgoing Calls
This is the most sophisticated application for the
T-311, particularly when incorporation of the proper applications
software and an audio source allow the T-311 to operate without
human supervision. Examples include:
- Telemarketing
- Autodialing with software, autodialing from a list of numbers
- Automatic remote monitoring of equipment
- Automatic outbound messaging
- Customer service surveys
- Appointment verification
- Collections on receivables
- Purchasing applications to solicit multiple bids
- University alumni fund-raising
programs
Incoming Calls
In this type of application, the caller uses the
T-311 to update or verify information in a remote computer database.
Examples include:
- Message forwarding systems
- Financial transaction systems
- Alarm systems
- Energy management systems
- Credit card verification systems
- Mail order systems
- Small business
Inward Security
The T-311's security checking feature can be used
for incoming call applications like dialback security systems or
building security systems. |
