| The
Teltone InfoLink DS-100 offers substation data switching you can
count on. The electronic data switch allows users to communicate
with up to eight intelligent electronic devices (IEDs) through a
single RS-232 serial connection. The DS-100 is designed to be operated
by itself, or in conjunction with the Teltone family of Substation
Line Sharing Switches (SLSS). It has been specifically engineered
to withstand the rigors of substation use and other hazardous environments.
Benefits of the DS-100
 |
Can individually communicate
with multiple IEDs from a single originating call. |
 |
Reduce operating costs by utilizing a single
modem instead of a separate modem for each IED. |
 |
Simplifies protocol conversion installation
by allowing users to group different manufacturers' IEDs behind
different DS-100s. |
 |
A building block approach enables users
to use the unit by itself or with other Teltone products. |
 |
No concern for AC power dropouts, since
DS-100 is DC powered. Also provides a 12VDC output to power
external modems. |
 |
One stocking unit required for 48 or 125VDC
operation. |
