  • Fixed issue with no audio in E1 mode when a unit had two FXS, one FXO and one T1/E1 module.
  • Fixed issue where some switch types were not looking at the ringback enable setting.
  • Improved DSP tone detector operation by ensuring that DTMF, voice and call progress detectors are all assigned to the same channel.

Changes to the TSP Configuration Software:

  • Added support for new, entry-level model TSP Edge EL.
  • Will now prompt for software warranty upgrade if newer code exists for unit that is out of warranty.
  • Extended PRI messages are now shown in log file for channel that is opened in the Trace window.
  • Extended PRI messages are now sent to the TAI interface
  • ISDN PRI (both North American and Euro protocols) is now included as standard feature (see Note 1).
  • New Install program.

Changes to TSP Scripting Module (TSP-ATS):

  • Fixed printing error in ScriptBuilder.
  • Fixed error where scripts requesting numbers from a file could get numbers from the wrong file.

Note 1: Available only to Edge units that are within the Software Warranty period. For out-of-warranty units, customers can either purchase a one-time software version upgrade (TSP-SWUP) or a Support Plan (TSP-Platinum).

Version 4.1

  • Added separate warranty tracking for hardware and software to support extended warranties.
  • Fixed download error problem for units with FXO modules installed.
  • Removed internal warranty tracking requirements for evaluation units.

Version 4.0

Changes to TSP-EDGE:

  • Added Added internal warranty tracking. NOTE: If you are upgrading from an older version of the software, you will be prompted to contact Teltone for a Warranty Code to enter into your TSP. This code is free-of-charge, and will allow you to upgrade the firmware within the TSP to the new release.
  • Added hook flash detection to analog FXS operation.
  • Improved Voice Detect algorithm in scripts.
  • Changed reference level for User Defined tones (increases by 6 dB).
  • Fixed audio path anomalies when more than two modules are installed.

Changes to TSP-BASE:

  • Fixed PRI problem with call-confirm recognition when configured as CPE.

Changes to the TSP configuration software:

  • Changed authorization code scheme to use license code.
  • Fixed problems in user interface for PCs configured for other countries (date and number formats).
  • Allows PRI channels and FXO channels to be assigned to the same Switch Emulation control set.

Changes to TSP ScriptBuilder:

  • Fixed TSP ScriptBuilder so that User Defined tones allow single tone.

Version 3.6

  • Added E1 primary rate ISDN capability for TSP-EDGE.
  • Added user options for Unassigned Channels Idle State.
  • TSP-PRI software module now supports either T1 or E1 PRI (E1 on TSP-EDGE Only).
  • TSP-2PRI Software module adds second PRI type (E1 or T1) (TSP Edge only).

Version 3.5

Changes to Main TSP Configuration application:

  • Added support for the new POTS FXO module (TSP-EDGE Only).
  • Expanded audio playback capabilities with real-time audio streaming capability over the Ethernet connection (TSP-EDGE Only).
  • Export Event Log to a comma-delimited file with full text.

Changes to ScriptBuilder application (part of the TSP-ATS software module):

  • Added support for the new POTS FXO module.
  • Increased script size from 255 to 511 steps.
  • Added Cut, Copy, Paste, and Undo edit functions.
  • Enhanced GoTo operation. Multiple GoTo commands can jump to the same Label.
  • Script execution flows can be defined using external text-based control files.
  • Increased update speed of ScriptBuilder interface when editing commands.
  • Significant increase in printing speed of scripts.

Version 3.1

Minor bug fixes for Unit ID number format error, Wink Start Signaling Bit problem and PRI operation.

Version 3.0

Added support for the TSP-EDGE hardware platform and the TSP-ATS Automated Test Scripting software module. Bug fix for connection problems with Primary Rate Interface.

The Automated Test Scripting interface allows users to easily and quickly write scripts for multilevel, interactive testing of CTI systems such as IVR. Users can set up test scenarios to use the TSP's powerful capabilities in any sequence required for their applications. The simple ScriptBuilder user interface means less time spent setting up tests and lower training and testing costs. Includes sample scripts.

Revision 2.6

Adds the Test Automation Interface capability, which allows users to control the TSP with links between the TSP configuration software and their own test programs.

The primary functions within the Test Automation Interface allow a user's program to:

  • Load TSP project files, which contain detailed configuration information for the desired tests.
  • Start and stop tasks (control sets) that control the operation of specific sets of channels within the TSP.
  • Receive event messages that provide details of each calls progress and any change in alarm status or other error condition.
  • Access diagnostic functions that allow channels to be placed into a specific state (offhook, onhook, ringing).
  • Retrieve status information, including current alarm status of all T1/E1/PRI channels and operational state of all control sets.
  • Monitor T1 signaling bits.

Access to the Test Automation Interface functions can be done from a program using DDE (Windows Dynamic Data Exchange) or TCP links.

Two sample programs are provided to demonstrate the Test Automation Interface. One program is written in TCL, the other is a LabView VI (Virtual Instrument). TCL is an industry standard scripting language that is freely available (www.tcl.tk); LabView is a widely used test program from National Instruments (www.ni.com/labview). In addition to TCL and LabView, the Test Automation Interface is designed to work with any language capable of either DDE or TCP connections.

Revision 2.5

Provides expanded POTS capability. Up to three 8-channel POTS modules can be installed for a total 24 POTS channels. Single or Dual T1/E1 modules can now be installed simultaneously with the 24 channel POTS (only port 2 of the Dual T1 module will be available for test).

Revision 2.1

Provides the ability for registered users of the TSP to test drive the PRI module, as well as other minor enhancements.

Revision 2.0

Provides the following features:

  • Choice of CAMA or Tie Trunk operation with T1 Wink Start, Delay Dial or Immediate Dial.
  • Call Log Enhancements: call progress information, summary of calls
  • Call Tracing: display of real time call progress of a channel
  • Option for PRI software module upgrade.
